GES warns against fake recruitment letter

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the public against a fake recruitment letter making rounds on social media.

The forged document alleges that financial clearance has been granted to employ 50,000 teaching and non-teaching staff.

In a press statement released on September 21, 2025, and signed by its Head of Public Relations, Daniel Fenyi, the Service dismissed the claims, stressing that the letter is “FAKE” and not from GES.

The management further clarified that no recruitment exercise has been approved and assured that any legitimate hiring process will be formally announced through the official communication platforms of GES and the Ministry of Education.

GES is urging the public to ignore the false document and promptly report any related fraudulent schemes to the appropriate authorities.
